Overview

This Everest Panorama trek is one of the short teahouses trekking in Everest region. It is also known as Thyangboche trek, an introductory Everest hiking trip, allows you to see many stunning Himalayan peaks including Everest from a low elevation in less then two weeks from your arrival and departure from Kathmandu.
We fly to Lukla (2827meters) kicking things off with an areal view of the mountains to start our journey. We hike to the Sherpa settlement of Namche Bazaar (3440 meters), then continue exploring Phakding and Manjo, following the Dudh Koshi valley. stopping to Acclimate and explore day for at Namche allow to catch your breath before the hike toward Everest View hotel. From here we will continue to Syanboche airport and Hillary foundation school witch boasts to have the Yeti scalp! We then hike to Thaynboche monastery, via a different route by Phortse and Pangboche village to witness the Cho Oyu, and the oldest monastery in the whole Everest region. In Tengboche we are rewarded with the views of Everest, soaring behind Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Kangtega and Tawache.

This Everest Alternate Route trek is one of the short tea houses trekking in Everest region. You will pass by everest region via the unique route of Phortse and Pangboche village. And witness Cho Oyu and the oldest Buddhist monastery in the whole Everest region. In other words, Everest Alternate Route Trek is an Excellent Everest Panorama Experience within Short Holidays.

Arrival to Kathmandu(1310 m./4298 ft.) Airport where our representative will welcome you and assist in transferring to your hotel for an overnight stay.

An Morning at 9 am Breakfast and sightseeing in Ancient historical Durbar square with Monkey Temple.evening trek/tour preparation.overnight at Hotel.

An early morning flight to Lukla from Kathmandu and trek to Phakding. (2610 m./8563 ft.). Flight 30 minutes and walking 3 hours. O/N at guest house.

Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440 m./11286 ft.). walking 5:30 hours. Overnight at Lodge.

Acclimatization day at Namche Bazzar(explore Everest view hotel,Sherpa cultural village,Hilary foundation school etc…)stay overnight at Lodge.

Trek to Tengboche Monastery(3860m) Explore the stunning views of Ama Dablam, Kantega, Everest, Lhotse and Nupste.Walking 4.5 hours. Overnight stay in Lodge

Trek back to Manjau (2835m) .Walking 5 / 6.5 hours. Overnight stay in Lodge

Trek back to Lukla(2840m), Walking 4.5 / 5 hours. Overnight stay in Lodge

Fly to Kathmandu. Free day to explore..

Below is a list of suggested clothing and equipment items to bring:

  • Warm jacket – down jacket, if possible.
  • Water and windproof jacket (alternatively bring a poncho or umbrella)
  • Long sleeved synthetic fleece (windproof material, if possible)
  • Thermal underwear
  • Hat, pair of gloves and scarf
  • Comfortable hiking trousers (loose fitting
  • Shorts and trousers, or skirt
  • 2 pairs of warm wool-blend socks
  • 2 pairs of running socks or liner socks
  • Proper hiking boots
  • Running shoes and flip-flops
  • 2-3 t-shirts

  • The outer jacket should be warm, down jacket is highly recommended during winter season
  • Bring a pair of warm winter trousers, in addition to the hiking trousers
  • Bring at least one windproof layer of clothes, helping to reduce any chill factor influence.
  • Snow gaiters
