A Step By Step Treks & Adventure representative will be waiting for you at the airport. He/she will then drop us off at our hotel where we can take a rest. In the evening we can enjoy a short visit around mix colorful touristic hub at Thamel and as well as introduce the Nepalese mix culture with food and drinks.

Today is our second big day for explore entire popular Kathmandu UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These spot shows you the most highlight Nepal’s cultural and religious heritages. Our following days will be Kathmandu Durbar Square which showcases Kathmandu’s rich architectural prowess during the Malla dynasty (c1201–1769),and then Swayambhunath Stupa which tourists commonly refer to as the ‘Monkey Temple’ owing to a large number of the monkey population in the vicinity. Next is Pashupatinath Temple which is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus all over the world followed by the Buddhist shrine of Boudhanath which is one of the largest stupas in the world. Overnight in Kathmandu.

We leave our hotel and travel to the airport at six in the morning. After about an hour, we reach the base camp of Mt. Everest. We do not land here, however, flying over the base camp with dramatic aerial views of the Everest region is an awesome experience. We make a landing at Kala Patthar where we hop out of the chopper for about 10 - 15 minutes and admire the mighty Himalayas, Everest in particular. The helicopter will then take us to the beautiful Gokyo Lake. We stop there for a few minutes and admire its view up-close. Next, we fly back to Kathmandu. In the evening, there will be a farewell dinner hosted by Step By Step Company to share our experiences with the amazing Everest Helicopter Tour.

Our Everest Helicopter Tour in Nepal ends today. A Step By Step Treks & Adventure representative will drop us off at the Tribhuwan International Airport a few hours before the scheduled flight.
