RancheThaple Hill trek is situated in the southwest in Pokhara.  Despite being in the heart of the popular Annapurna region, Thaple Hill Trek has only recently been developed as an off-the-beaten trekking destination. This small hamlet trek lies on the 2050m from sea level. Thaple Hill trek is newly explored that offers Off-the-beaten-path experience. The uniqueness of this trek is to enjoy by those who interest to avoid crowd people.  Simply breathtaking wide ranges of Himalaya backdrop and isolated of friendly traditional villages- this trek is surely once a lifetime experience for everyone. While we trek in Thaple Hill, we follow the trail more like a way of mixed ethnic settlement.  A friendly villager’s hospitality gives you a different experience to learn about their livings and lifestyle.  The beauty of nature and vegetation farming landscape with a surround of snowcapped mountain scenery built you an exceptional memory. From the Thaple hilltop- it provides you stunning sunrise that changes the golden color while rays hit on the snowcapped peak. As the visibility you able to see,  the number of mountain ranges it offers you such as Manaslu, Gaurisnkar, Lamjung Annapurna on the eastern part of Pokhara and Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Tukche on the southwest of Pokhara.

 Ramche Devi (goddess) Temple while Thaple Hill trek: Trekking and hiking without mixed up with culture and history-it don’t make sense that you really enjoying your trip. Ramche Devi Temple is one of the most iconic spots located at (2135m) on the way we hike in Thaple Hill. The temple it has covered by surround lush forest with flora and fauns. Accordingly history background, Ramche Devi temple has been established 220 years before. This temple is one of the key highlights of this trek. People said they were suffering by a wild animal while they producing their necessary harvest in the field, thus now they are free of a wild animal to disturb after they exited the temple. Since then, now every year local people observe a different ritual event at Ramche Temple including major festivals such as Dashain, Shivaratri,Ramanavami and Balachaturdasi. People believed worshiping in  Ranche Devi temple becomes the fulfill of  Mukti(salvation) of their desire.

Upon our arrival in the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, we will be greeted by a representative from Step By Step Company who will drop us off at our hotel. In the evening(Depends on Arrival schedule) there will be a welcome dinner hosted by our company Step By Step Treks & Adventure where you will be served excellent Nepalese cuisine which will introduce you to the country's food culture. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Today after breakfast we enjoy a guided tour to several of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu which are also listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites. We visit the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhunath) and Buddhist shrine (Bouddhanath), which is also one of the largest stupas in the world. At noon, we get our equipment checked by our leader, get introduced to fellow participants, and discuss our trip. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Fly to Pokhara or Drive to Pokhara by Bus ( 30 mins by flight, or 7 hours drive. Upon Arrived Our Representative will assist you to pick up and Transfer in Hotel. Rest of day explore and visit around Pokhara. Stay overnight at Hotel.

At 8am we drive from Pokhara to Sarketar (West Highway of Sidhartha Rajmarg) 1 Hour. From Sarketar we begin our trek to Ramche Hill Via Aarukharka.(2125m) Walking 4 Hour. Stay night at RamcheTemple campsite.

Ramche Hill to Ulleri Via Thaple Hill( 1550m) Walking 4 Hour . Stay night at Homestay lodge

An Morning enjoy the view with Sunrise. Then trek descending to Kubende Bhanjyang. Walking 2 Hour. Upon arrived we drove back to Pokhara.(Drive duration-45 Minutes) Stay Overnight at Hotel.

Below is a list of suggested clothing and equipment items to bring:

  • Warm jacket – down jacket, if possible.
  • Water and windproof jacket (alternatively bring a poncho or umbrella)
  • Long sleeved synthetic fleece (windproof material, if possible)
  • Thermal underwear
  • Hat, pair of gloves and scarf
  • Comfortable hiking trousers (loose fitting
  • Shorts and trousers, or skirt
  • 2 pairs of warm wool-blend socks
  • 2 pairs of running socks or liner socks
  • Proper hiking boots
  • Running shoes and flip-flops
  • 2-3 t-shirts

  • The outer jacket should be warm, down jacket is highly recommended during winter season
  • Bring a pair of warm winter trousers, in addition to the hiking trousers
  • Bring at least one windproof layer of clothes, helping to reduce any chill factor influence.
