Overview

This Everest Panorama trek is one of the short tea-houses treks within the Everest region. It is also known as Tengboche trek, an introductory Everest hiking trip, allows you to see many stunning Himalayan peaks including Everest from a low elevation in less then two weeks within your arrival and departure from Kathmandu.
A quick fight into Lukla (2827meters) will kick off the journey with spectacular views of mountains to start our journey. after our first taste of mountain air, we begin our hike to the Sherpa settlement of Namche Bazaar (3440 meters). Continuing, we explore the areas of Phakding and Manjo following the Dudh Koshi valley. After the initial acclimatization, we set off to Namche, where we can begin out trek toward the Everest View hotel, syanboche airport and Hillary foundation school, which is said to have the Yeti scalp! We further our adventure to the most famous monastery in the Everest region- Thaynboche monastery, via the different route of Phortse and Pangboche village where we can witness the Cho Oyu and the oldest temples in the whole Everest region. upon arrival to Tengboche, we are rewarded with views of Everest, soaring behind many other noteworthy peaks, such as Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Kangtega, and Tawache. If you are looking for a potent Everest experience, and are a little tight on time, this is the trek for you!

  • Warm jacket – down jacket, if possible.
  • Water and windproof jacket (alternatively bring a poncho or umbrella)
  • Long sleeved synthetic fleece (windproof material, if possible)
  • Thermal underwear
  • Hat, pair of gloves and scarf
  • Comfortable hiking trousers (loose fitting
  • Shorts and trousers, or skirt
  • 2 pairs of warm wool-blend socks
  • 2 pairs of running socks or liner socks
  • Proper hiking boots
  • Running shoes and flip-flops
  • 2-3 t-shirts
  • Equipment
  • Pair of polarizing sun-glasses (to be comfortable and to avoid potential snow-blindness)
  • Backpack 70-75ltr for Carrying porter during the trek with cover
  • Day backpack for self carry 40-45ltr with cover
  • Head torch, or small torch, plus spare batteries
  • Sleeping bag and silk liner(4 season)
  • 2 x water bottles or camel bag  but avoid cheap ones that can burst inside your backpack

  • The outer jacket should be warm, down jacket is highly recommended during winter season
  • Bring a pair of warm winter trousers, in addition to the hiking trousers
  • Bring at least one windproof layer of clothes, helping to reduce any chill factor influence.
